About the Role

VERDE Placement is in the process of filling a high-level Executive Search role for innovative Fortune 500 company in need of a VP of Sustainability & Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to lead its sustainability, strategy and environmental initiatives. This high-impact role will drive corporate sustainability goals, oversee ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) reporting, and develop partnerships for climate impact projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sustainability strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Lead ESG initiatives, including carbon footprint reduction and net-zero planning.
  • Oversee compliance with international sustainability frameworks such as GRI, SASB, and CDP.
  • Represent the company at global sustainability conferences and industry forums.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Business Sustainability, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in sustainability, ESG, or corporate social responsibility.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing sustainability programs at a corporate level.
  • Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.
